"Why do we have to grow up? I know more adults who have the children's approach to life. They're people who don't give a hang what the Joneses do. You see them at Disneyland every time you go there. They are not afraid to be delighted with simple pleasures, and they have a degree of contentment with what life has brought-sometimes it isn't much, either."
Our family loves Disney. Disney's messages of hard work, courage mingled with kindness, good clean family humor, and living purposefully and optimistically in a world with shadows, mirrors the way we choose to look at the world. Disney movies, Disney music, and Walt Disney World, we love it all!!!
I love this planet. Of all the beautiful places on Earth, Shenandoah and the Blue Ridge mountains are among the most beautiful. The real world is greater than the digital one.
Roger and Jenny
I married my high school sweetheart.
When I was growing up, I had dreams about what life could be. Life never turns out just how you expect it will. Through all the unexpected plot twists, The Lord brought someone into my story that I could fall in love with. Someone to build a life with: a life that is better than the one I dreamed of as a child. Jenny is my high school sweetheart, my best friend, my companion, my Love. Our relationship has had ups and downs. Our relationship requires hard work and deliberate choices. But our relationship is something I wouldn't trade for anything else on this planet. I cherish all of the shared laughter, tears, scars, successes, and failures. We've made it through several chapters in our life. I cherish knowing that we'll write the rest of our story together, and only death will keep us from growing old in each other's arms.
No matter what else happens,
Life is sweet when you spend it with someone who loves you.
